The Point of Grace Newsstand (1996) This was my first major website project -- a personal site for myself that was simply a fan site for my favorite music group at that time. This site initiated my web design "career" and even when I ceased updating it anymore, it received hundreds of hits a week till the the day I just recently shut it down. |

Acme Scale and Supply (1997) My first commercial site was for Acme Scale and Supply, a Pittsburgh scale company that has since closed. This was my largest professional site project, and I explored a variety of design solutions to handle the large amount of information. Blowing away even designers who viewed it, it was an encouraging start for me! |

Creation 1998 Scrapbook (1998) Instead of making scrapbooks, I've always preferred to dedicate websites to my travels and trips. This was my first of many such "photo-scrapbooks," and it is presented "note-book style" -- complete with a "cloth" cover page. |

Teen Mania Interactive Scrapbook (1998) Another scrapbook site, this one, done completely in Flash, was one of my most intuitive pages, combining music, animation and photos. Although I view its design as amateur now, this site truly provided an experience from beginning to end! |

Pittsburgh Coalition Against Porn- ography (1998)* Not long after finishing Acme Scale's site, I received a call from PCAP, a non-profit organization that needed a well-done, but inexpensive site. Though the initial design was simply done, it has since become my busiest, and we plan to work on improving it soon. |

A is for Abstinence (1998) This division of PCAP was part of the same project, but it was my favorite part to work with. This site, geared to appeal to a younger crowd, included an animated, interactive version of one of their pamphlets which I designed in Flash. |

River of Life Christian Bookstore (1999) This is actually a site prototype for one of my websites that never made it online. I was going to make a Christian bookstore through Amazon.com's affiliate program, but never had the time to finish it. It gives you a glimpse of the breadth of what I've done, however. |

One Creation Campfire (1999) This site, again, primarily a photo scrapbook, included hundreds of video stills from Creation Christian Music festival. It is one of my most beautiful sites, dedicated to my "Creation family." I departed from the traditional "scrapbook motif" however, making this one a warm, welcoming and sentimental campfire. |

AP US History Project (1999) Since I set up my very first site in '96, design has been a part of all I do. These next two sites were actually Advanced Placement US History projects done in my Junior year -- unique presentations of my two 10-page reports. Design affects all I do. |

Alfred P. Sloan Biography (2000) Another AP project, this site was a unique tribute to the "redesigner" of General Motors, Alfred P. Sloan. As a designer, I found his intuitive acheivements fascinating. Thank him for multicolored cars. |
|
Summer Honors Photo Scrapbook (2000) Another "scrapbook" site, this one was created to display hundreds of digital photos taken by friends and I at Taylor University's Summer Honors program. Although providing a design challenge because of the quantity of photos, as with my Teen Mania site, Flash was my solution. |

Creation 2001* I can't half-do a site project, and this silly site commemorating Creation Festival 2001 is no exception. While it was put together quickly, it cleverly brings together the highlights of the trip, including the omnipresent "newt" icon that appears as an intuitive button on the Flash-powered photo album page. |

Biblical Life Institute (2001)* A more recent site project was for a little Bible School near me, Biblical Life Institute. They wanted only a simple, low-cost site, so I developed a very straight-forward design that presented all of the school's information in an easy-to-access and navigate manner, while still being quite classy! This site will be up soon. |

Flo's Gymnastics (2001)* This simply designed but charming site for Flo's Gymnastics was my first site to provide the client with a mechanism allowing them to easily post updates to their site. The site was designed with extra care, since I had worked and trained at Flo's for many years, as I manipulated and integrated digital photos I'd taken of the children with whom I'd worked there. |
